Founded in 2000, Camp Conquest is designed to respond to the needs of pediatric burn survivors. Activities are intended to improve self-esteem, confidence, physical abilities, and range of motion. Campers make friends and build connections with other burn survivors, and leave camp with an improved sense of wellbeing.
Who’s at camp?
Pediatric burn survivors, ages 7 to 17, are invited to attend Camp Conquest.
Camp is staffed by trained counselor and leaders who are firefighters, nurses, social workers, chaplains, child life specialists, and physical and occupational therapists.
What’s the cost of camp?
Camp Conquest is FREE of charge for every camper!
Where is camp?
Camp Conquest is a 5 day/4 night stay at Children’s Harbor on Lake Martin in Alexander City, Alabama.
How do I get to camp?
Transportation is available between Children’s of Alabama and Children’s Harbor. You may also drop your child off at Children’s Harbor in Alexander City.
